Weeeeeee Were Lovers In A Dangerous Time
This one is for Aish, Shea, Cam, Van, Nate, and all those who heard my nightly singing on the way back to the car. Note what they are selling in the record store at the end of the video: the Yellow Tape! Oh, how I wish I had a copy of that tape.
Bonus: Weekends. I prefer the weekends!

Never a breath can you afford to waste.
Great stuff - wending their way through the wintery wastes of Scarberia.
So that is Scarberia, eh? We were trying to figure that out this weekend.
Christ, Andy, you just made me cry like a girl. When I told Van I wanted the two of you to make me a Canadiana CD, that was the ONLY song I was thinking of (I still want the CD, though). You'd better get that ashtray of yours and a bottle of Tanqueray out for my return next month.
PS. You can see where Colby spent a lot of time almost committing assault in the 90s. He and Steven Page were the spit of each other. Don't lie: you can see it.
Oh, Sarah, that nugget about CC is too good not to exploit!! BTW, the gin is chillin and the ashtray is gleaming. There will be smokes and drinks and canadiana and good times aplenty - just show up!! And if you are lucky, you won't need the CD, you'll be treated to Andy's alarmingly accurate impersonation of Mr Page.
This vid always makes me giddy - I don't know why, but the effect hasn't worn off in a decade. I'll keep this post bookmarked for the rough days at work...
On a side note, this is about the only piece of Canadian film that captures the winter wasteland of the great white north that I actually like. Huh.
Andy, I'll never be able to listen to Steven Page without laughing ever again! And I totally agree with Van - somehow this video makes Scarborough in the winter look beautiful. Weird.
P.S. Thanks for the bonus! Oooh, Fred's got slacks!
"And all those who heard" - I think that was pretty much half the hill.
Agreed. And luckier they are for it, Cam!
