Proving once again that they run a sub-standard newspaper, the Globe and Mail ran an article a couple of weeks ago where they identified the Calgary Folk Festival as one of the Seven Wonders of the Musical World. No offence to the CFF, but everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, knows that it is Edmonton's weaker sister. I have actually stopped attending the CFF because the ambience is so much worse than in Edmonton. To put it nicely, most of the people there are rude posers.

Wilco Coming To Edmonton

The Edmonton Folk Music Festival is pleased to present Wilco in concert Thursday, June 29th, 8pm at the Jubilee Auditorium.

Following the release of their latest recording, Kicking Television –Live in Chicago, alt-rockers Wilco return to Edmonton for a much anticipated live performance.
